What trip to France is complete without taking a class on how to make real macaroons, just like the French! Taking about two hours, a lot of teamwork, and sometimes a couple of tries, we finally created the most delicious white chocolate raspberry and dark chocolate filled macaroons. Macaroons may seem like a simple cookie, however, the process to make them and keep the meringue just so, is a lot trickier than it looks. This place we went to, La Cuisine Paris, was really superb, with highly experienced and friendly bakers, and charming kitchens.
